Request for Proposal

1. BACKGROUND

The Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) is coordinating the development of a new regional project platform with donor support. The initiative will strengthen collaboration across Asia and Africa, bringing together stakeholders to share information, exchange updates, publish news, and facilitate member engagement.

To support this, GAHP seeks a qualified design studio to deliver two project logos (with light brand guidelines) and a comprehensive forum website. The work will be closely coordinated with GAHP and the donor, who will remain actively involved.

2. SCOPE OF WORK

A. Logo Design

• Two distinct logos representing Asia and Africa.

• Three design options per logo to be presented.

• Development of a light brand guideline for each logo, including:

  • Typography

  • Color palette

  • Usage rules (light/dark backgrounds, scaling, etc.)

  • Basic applications (e.g., letterhead template)

B. Website Development

• Design and development of a new website serving as a platform to:

  • Share project information and background.

  • Publish news, articles, and press releases.

  • Exchange updates among members.

  • Provide a member-only section (restricted access) for resource sharing.

  • Host a blog section.

• The site should be:

  • Modern, professional, and user-friendly.

  • Mobile-responsive and optimized for accessibility.

  • Built on a widely used CMS.

  • Equipped with multi-language capability (English + future possibility for additional languages).

• The vendor should provide basic training for staff to manage content updates.

3. DELIVERABLES

• Two logos (with three design options each), and light brand guidelines for each logo (PDF format).

• For the website, we encourage vendors to recommend additional functionalities, design approaches, and technical solutions that best serve the platform’s regional hub/forum role.

4. TIMELINE

• The website and two logos are expected to be delivered by the end of December 2026.

5. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Interested studios should submit a proposal including:

  • Company profile (including office location(s) – Asia/Africa-based vendors will receive priority, though global submissions are welcome).

  • Portfolio of relevant logo design and website projects.

  • Proposed methodology for delivering logos and website.

  • Work plan and timeline with key milestones.

  • Team composition and roles.

  • Cost breakdown: Logo design package, website design and development, and optional maintenance/support services.

6. EVALUATION CRITERIA

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Relevant experience and creativity

• Technical approach and methodology

• Proposed timeline and capacity to deliver

• Cost-effectiveness

• Regional presence (Asia/Africa)

7. BUDGET

The donor has not specified a budget. Vendors are requested to provide realistic, competitive quotations based on market standards and the scope of work.
