OVERVIEW
GAHP is currently seeking a well-qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented full-time Consultant to fulfill the Program Coordinator role to support the implementation and coordination of the EPP Program in Vietnam (2025–2026). This role is critical to ensure the timely delivery of program milestones in 2025 and to support the timely implementation of the program. The selected Consultant fulfills these responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management (~60%)
Support day-to-day implementation of the program in Vietnam, including coordination of partners and experts, organizing events, and preparing presentations.
Monitor program timelines, deliverables, and progress; track donor-specific deliverables.
Assist in grant reporting and program documentation.
Coordinate and support local partners.
Provide regular updates and support to the GAHP Secretariat, the Program Manager, and the donor as required.
Represent GAHP in relevant Secretariat, partner, and donor meetings, as well as country-level and global communications meetings.
Support partners in drafting and revising project reports, briefing papers, and communications materials in collaboration with team members.
Serve as the interim point person for the country program.
Follow up with partners to ensure that the project deliverables are met.
Translate documents (Vietnamese/English/Vietnamese) when necessary
Communication (~10%)
Assist the Communication Manager and the partners' communication staff in coordinating communication material for the newsletters, articles, and presentations.
Join the regular local and global communication meetings.
Administrative Support (~30%)
Process receipts, expense reports, and related financial documentation as required.
Support the preparation and finalization of contracts and consultant agreements.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain records of key discussions.
Compile program updates for GAHP newsletters, donor newsletters, blogs, and/or donor reports.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to potentially attend early morning or late-night meetings across time zones, when necessary.
Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in program management, international development, public health, or environmental programs.
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural, remote team.
Prior experience with grant reporting and donor communications.
Fluency (written and oral) in Vietnamese and English, other languages a plus.
Degree in Environmental Science, Global Health, International Relations, or similar degree.
Experience in networking with government agencies and national and international stakeholders.
Excellent Report writing skills in English, samples of writing are required.
Will be considered a Plus:
Prior experience with implementing Aid projects in Vietnam.
Experience in implementing awareness campaigns and projects in Vietnam.
Experience in pesticide use, safe practices, agricultural methods, and open burning.
Experience in organizing workshops.
Technology skills: Dropbox, Box, Asana, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
