OVERVIEW
GAHP is currently seeking a well-qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented part-time Consultant to fulfill the Publications Coordinator role to support the implementation and coordination of the EPP Program in Vietnam (2025–2026). This role is critical to ensure the timely delivery of program milestones in 2025 and supporting program timely implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of Scientific Publications (~80%)
Collaborating with Vietnamese partners on writing scientific articles.
Reviewing and editing reports and articles.
Provide regular updates and support to the GAHP Secretariat, the Program Manager, and the donor as required.
Communication (~10%)
Assist the GAHP communication manager and the partners' communication staff in coordinating communication material for the newsletters, articles, and presentations. Join the regular local and global communication meetings.
Administrative Support (~10%)
Process receipts, expense reports, and related financial documentation as required.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain records of key discussions.
Contribute to program updates for GAHP newsletters, donor newsletters, blogs, and/or donor reports.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to potentially attend early morning or late-night meetings across time zones, when necessary.
Occasional international travel may be required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in planning scientific research, writing scientific articles, program management, public health, or environmental programs.
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural, remote team.
Prior experience with grant reporting and donor communications.
Fluency (written and oral) in English and other languages is a plus.
Degree: Environmental Science, Health, or similar doctorate degree.
Excellent writing skills in English; samples of writing are required.
Will be considered a Plus:
Experience in Environmental Health issues.
Experience in pesticide use, safe practices, agricultural methods, and open burning.
Experience in organizing workshops.
Technology skills: Dropbox, Box, Asana, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
