Dr. Tung Dao is a medical doctor graduated from the Ha Noi Medical University in 1999 as a general medical practitioner. He also holds a Master’s of Science degree in International health policies and management from the Brandeis University, Massachusetts, USA in 2006. Dr. Tung Dao has a solid work experience and expertise in overseeing development programs at international and national levels.
He has been working for NGOs and UNs in Viet Nam on support to the country in the areas of reproductive health, adolescent reproductive health, HIV, and programme management. Recently, he has been working in charge of biodiversity and Environmental Health-related interventions on capacity building for the health sector in health sector’s response to climate change including One-Health, sustainable procurement, Satellite-based early forecasting of water-borne diseases, POP and chemical control, and plastic waste management.
Having contributed in development of national legislations and policies on environmental health and pollution control in recent years, now Tung is expecting to join his hands with GAHP program to facilitate on-ground implementation of these legal frameworks.
