About GAHP
The Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) is a Switzerland-based foundation committed to addressing pollution and environmental health challenges worldwide, especially in low- and middle-income countries. We are currently supporting the implementation of the Environmental Public Health (EPP) Program in Vietnam and Uganda, in collaboration with key international partners.
Position Summary
GAHP is seeking a Program & Administrative Associate to provide essential administrative and light project support for the EPP Program, particularly in Vietnam and Uganda. While the position is primarily administrative, it also offers opportunities to contribute to program coordination, communications, and event planning.
This is a great opportunity for a junior professional passionate about environmental health and international development to work with a dynamic, global team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Review due diligence documents, partner expense reports, and project deliverables.
- Maintain an organized and secure digital filing system.
- Schedule meetings across time zones and prepare agendas and minutes.
- Support internal communication and document sharing within a globally distributed team.
- Maintain (create or revise) project archives and administrative records.
Project & Communications Support:
- Assist in coordinating activities under the EPP Program in Vietnam and Uganda.
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing presentations and communication materials.
- Collaborate with team members to write short articles, updates, or summaries for stakeholders and donors.
- Conduct small-scale research tasks as needed.
- Support the organization of meetings or events, both virtual and in-person.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to group discussions.
Profile & Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an NGO, foundation, or international project setting.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and cultures..
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) – Spanish or other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and shared document platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Box).
- Demonstrated interest in environmental health, sustainability, or public health.
- Reliable, proactive, and motivated to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
- Based in or able to work in Geneva, Switzerland, with the legal right to work.

Mr. Jean Abboud is an accredited mediator, and an international lawyer specialized in institutional and corporate governance matters of international organizations. He holds a master’s degree in international law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva), as well as a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from McGill University. He has co-authored book chapters on topics related to international organizations and is regularly invited as a lecturer on institutional law matters.
